What experience level do I need to join?

You need at least basic martial arts experience in BJJ, Muay Thai, Wrestling, or MMA. This includes regular training in one or more disciplines and a few months of consistent practice. This retreat is not suitable for complete beginners, but you don't need to be a competitor, just someone actively training and ready to learn.

What training gear should I bring?

Bring no-gi attire (rashguards & grappling shorts), Muay Thai shorts, hand wraps, mouthguard, MMA gloves, shin guards, and training towel. Most gear can be purchased locally at Bangtao's on-site store if needed.

What does the training schedule look like?

Your retreat includes daily group sessions with our coaches (morning & afternoon), access to scheduled classes at Bangtao Muay Thai, and unlimited access to their full weekly class schedule. You'll also have time for rest, social activities, and optional excursions.

When should I arrive?

Monday 17th. From 4 PM onwards there will be a private group open mat, followed by welcome drinks. Full details in the roster.

What are the accommodation options?

We've partnered with Arinara Beach Resort, minutes from the gym. Options include private rooms (1 person) with breakfast, or twin share (2 people) with shared room and breakfast, perfect for solo travelers wanting to connect with others.

Can I join the retreat on my own?

Absolutely! Many guests come solo. The retreat is designed to foster community through group training, shared meals, and social events, you'll connect with others immediately.

Are flights or airport transfers included?

No, flights and transfers are not included. We're happy to help coordinate transport if needed.

What are the payment options?

A 30% non-refundable deposit secures your spot. Choose to pay in full anytime or select our installment plan. Final balances must be paid by the due date on your invoice.

What's your cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation credits vary by timing: 100% credit (minus deposit) for 60+ days notice, 75% credit for 30-59 days, and 50% credit for less than 30 days only if your spot is filled. All credits are valid for 18 months.

What is the minimum age to attend?

You must be 14 years or older. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
